I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was young, ever since I can remember I’ve always wanted to work with animals, I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, chinchilla’s and hamsters for as long as I can remember, I currently only have the one dog Tillie, which is who the business is named after, she’s a 11 year old Yorkshire terrier/toy poodle crossbreed. I studied NVQ 1 and 2 animal care in college and did my ABRS equestrian exams 1-5.
Varying things changed my career path over the years, from managing bars – team manager in a call centre for a large cosmetic surgery clinic, whom I’ve worked with for the past 10 years.
I lost my mum 6/6/2019 to small cell lung cancer, she was only 57 it made me re-evaluate a lot of things one of those was work, and doing something that I really loved, something that meant I was able to be in the great outdoors, surrounded by 4 legged friends day in, day out. So here we are today Tillie’s Tail Wagging Walkies was born, I did my pet first aid qualification, OCN Level 3 in Dog Grooming and a number of other canine/animal related qualifications all of which can be shown at our initial free of charge consultation.
From a very young age, I've loved animals and i've owned many. Tillies Tail Wagging Walkies was started in the beginning as more of a hobby, a passion and love for animals. Starting out with just one client and moving slowly. Word of mouth got about, along with my advertising, and soon I became quite busy and well known.
Now - I am regularly providing repeat care to clients and wouldn't change my job for anything.
